I love finding new music. There really is nothing else like hitting play on something you've never heard before, and moments later your bobbing your head thinking "damn, this is good, REALLY good". Even better is when you find it completely by accident, because then it's special. You were ment to find it, or maybe it was ment to find you.
I had an experince like this just tonight. I was digging through Myspace to find a track to stick on my profile, and I found a track from one of ID&T's Sensations white events. The only listing I had was the track name, "Second Day". A quick trip to Itunes yeilded an Erro V. Essex track entitled "The Second Day", assuming they were the same, I picked up the Original Mix, along with the Perry O'neal mix. Suprise! completely different song. I almost always preview before I buy, this time I did not. All I have to say is this is seriously one badass track! High energy, fantasic basslines, just downright great, and completely by accident.
Eventually I did track down the right track, it was a Jose AMnesia Vs. Serp track. I found a rather nifty website, VonYC.com, run by a group affiliated with Paul Van Dyk, that sells the tracks as online downloads, for what amounts to about $2.00 US.
