I really do love my job. The things I get to work on, the people I get to work with, and the things that constantly break (which ensures I can keep doing what I love) all add up to probably the best possible environment for me. The one thing though, is every time I start to settle in, and forget that I DO actually work in a medical setting, I glance into the pathology labs on the way to the office and see some doctor poking at some 'octopus hit by a truck' looking thing with a stick... or, my personal favorite, the semi-opaque (but noooot quite) biohazard tubs of what LOOKS like chopped up potatoes in red jello (but I know it's not) sitting on a cart outside of an operating room as I walk past to fix some piece of OR tech.
Seriously, how can these doctors eat lunch :P and worse yet, that gunk is INSIDE ME! omg!
nah, I'm really not all wierded out by the various body parts and stuff, it's just funny how little they think of the stuff. "hey bob, how bout that indians game last nig....hey, that's a nice looking kidney there!"
